How Imaging Works

01. Registration & Check-in

Present your identification and any relevant medical records at reception.

02. Preparation

Our radiographer will explain the procedure and help you prepare:

Remove metal objects (jewelry, belts, phones)
Change into examination gown if needed
Positioning instructions

03. Imaging

Quick, painless procedure (usually 5-15 minutes)
Multiple views may be taken
You may need to hold your breath briefly

04. Results

Images reviewed by our radiologist
Report prepared with findings
Results sent to your referring doctor

Preparation Guidelines

General X-Rays (Chest, Limbs, Spine):

- No special preparation needed
- Wear comfortable, loose clothing
- Remove metal jewelry and accessories
