Establishment & Growth
The facility began as a healthcare project focused on outpatient services, aiming to provide quality care without the need for hospital admission — a model that helps many patients access treatment more conveniently and affordably. Nairobi Outpatient Gulf
It was founded and developed by Grace Wangare Muthuma, a Kenyan entrepreneur who expanded her business interests into healthcare.
Grace Muthuma’s journey to establishing the hospital included entrepreneurial experience abroad and use of her savings to start medical services — initially through a lab that evolved into the broader outpatient facility.
Expansion
The institution has grown beyond its original Nairobi location. Recently, multiple branches (including the sixth branch in Githurai) have been opened to bring expanded services — such as advanced orthopaedic care and maternity support — closer to communities around Nairobi and Kiambu County.
